Founded in 1925 by Cavaliere Emiliano Lera, the Grand Hotel Sitea has been owned and operated by the same family for four generations, without interruption except on two occasions due to force majeure:

\n\u2022 the first between 1944 and 1945, when the Sitea was requisitioned by the R.A.P. (Anti-Partisan Units);
\u2022 the second in 2020, following the Covid-19 health emergency.

\nA true oasis of warmth and hospitality in the heart of Turin, the Grand Hotel Sitea was recognized in 2000 as a Historic Venue of Italy<\/i>, joining the \u201cAssociazione Locali Storici d\u2019Italia<\/i>\u201d (Association of Historic Venues of Italy).

\nThanks to the constant care of its spaces, meticulous attention to detail, and a welcoming yet discreet atmosphere, the Sitea has long been the preferred home of artists and celebrities from around the world.
This tradition began in 1935, when Louis Armstrong stayed at the Sitea during the Turin stop of his first Italian tour.
